Ideas on How to Save Yourself Money – Helping Financial Stability

sld-divider

The last few years have hit most people’s savings, bank accounts and the way they live. Since the credit crunch created a massive impact on the world there have been company closures, people losing their jobs and of course all this becomes a knock on effect bringing “work life” into “personal life”. If you, like many other individuals, couples and families are struggling by, just having enough money left over each month to clear regular bills then it is a good idea to come up with a plan of what your monthly outgoings actually add up to.

Luxuries are sure enough something we all need but if you find something in your outgoings that is having a major affect on your finances then going for something slightly cheaper or cutting it out altogether will really benefit you.

Sky Subscription Service

This is one of the main areas, something that can cost anything from £46 a month right up to £60 a month. A lot of people I know are stopping this service and buying a freeview box for £20-£30, as this doesn’t carry any monthly subscription costs and you can get over 200 channels.

Landline Phones/Broadband

If you have a mobile phone that you are paying for, then is there really any need for a landline phone as well? This alone can save you line rental and phone calls (£20 – £160 dependent on use). Broadband can also be quite costly so buying a wireless USB dongle with a £10 a month usage charge can save you a fortune on standard broadband packages.

So looking at making a few changes like this and cancelling any subscriptions services, landline telephones and broadband can save you as much as £80 – £2200 a month that in-turn will aid you in having a more comfortable life where you can get back on your feet.
